HOBART BOOK LAUNCH FOR BUTTERFLIES BE GONE

A second book launch was held at the beautiful Sanara Studio, in Hobart, Tasmania, in March 2023. We had an enthusiastic crowd of families from toddlers to grandparents.

I’d bought 2 special teddy friends, Red Dragon and Green Dragon, at the book launch at Harry Hartog Bookseller, Warringah, Sydney. I used them to great effect to represent when the character, Jesse, was feeling over-activated vs calm. Red Dragon demonstrated sympathetic dominance, or ‘fight or flight’ mode, and Green Dragon represented parasympathetic activation, or ‘rest and digest’ mode. Look carefully at the pictures and see if you can spot the young girl who loved to fly Red Dragon.

Everyone loved the craft table. They got to make their very own little book to decorate and take home, and a drawing of starfish hand breathing to put on their bedroom wall.

With yummy morning tea and a party bag to round it all out, we had a very special book launch enjoyed by all.
