Tiny books for tiny people
By Adele Vincent
Illustrated by Emily Lambrinakos and Adele Vincent
Tiny books are a series of themed yoga therapy books for children. I developed the concept of ‘tiny books’ while teaching children’s yoga classes at a childcare centre. The kids absolutely loved them. Some loved the yoga poses, some loved the sounds we made for each pose, some loved the pictures, others the colourful little books that they could take turns holding. I made a book each time I had an idea for a class theme and no suitable picture book to adapt for yoga. For example, I wrote ‘This is a farm’ for a farm-themed class, or ‘This is a savanna’ for African animals, or ‘This is a baby’ for cute pictures of baby animals and low variations of poses that the 6 – 12-month-olds loved. Being so small and only 12 poses long makes the tiny books very achievable for children’s yoga classes.

Meditation & Pranayama
By Adele Vincent
This book is the course handbook for the Meditation & Pranayama Course (see Online Classes and Courses). It delves into each of the 12 main meditation techniques in the course, gives mantras with interpretation, and covers many related topics. The book brings together many diverse philosophies and can be used as a stand-alone resource on meditation and the yoga path. One participant said, ‘This course is a PhD. It is also a book. Think about publishing some form of it. There's a need out there to articulate the connections that you have made.’
