The Twelve Days of Christmas

Here’s a super fun, healthy holiday activity for the whole family.

Kids, see if you can remember to do all the yoga every day for 12 whole days. Challenge your parents to do it too!

Parents, it’s great for shedding that Christmas overindulgence and getting into shape for summer.

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Click the image to download my yoga version of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Click the calendar below to download it too. Print them out and stick them on the fridge (or somewhere smart if you’re going on holiday).

  2. Look at all the poses and make sure you understand what to do. If you have questions, email me by clicking the button below.

  3. Start on Christmas Day by singing the first verse and doing the yoga for the first day. It’s super simple for Christmas Day — just one down dog. Easy peasy. Tick Day 1 on the calendar.

  4. On Boxing Day, sing verses 1 and 2 and do the yoga for the second day. Still easy, right? Just a pigeon pose on each side and a down dog. Tick Day 2 on the calendar.

  5. Keep going, adding one more verse each day and doing the yoga for that day’s verse. Don’t forget to tick off each day on the calendar.

  6. Continue every day until you’ve done 12 whole days. Yay!

  7. If you made it to the end and did the whole thing, CONGRATULATIONS! But even if you didn’t, you can always just start again or do it again next Christmas. I’d love to hear how you went. Click the button below to email me and I will reply to you (pinky promise).
