Course Overview

A 20-class course to build strength, flexibility and structural stability and restore the health of organs, bones and joints. Return all the major systems of the body to vibrant, robust health. Learn which classes and specific yoga therapy moves make the biggest impact for you and repeat them daily, or often, to help restore function and balance on all levels. In the course handbook, discover 5-element theory, wholefoods and delicious healthy meal plans that support each meridian.

Course Outline

Weeks 1 & 2 — Core stability classes

Weeks 3, 4, 5 — Metal element classes

Weeks 6, 7, 8 — Water element classes

Weeks 9, 10, 11 – Wood element classes

Weeks 12, 13, 14 — Earth element classes

Weeks 15, 16, 17 — Fire I element classes

Weeks 18, 19, 20 — Fire II element classes

Weekly Content

Each week, there is a 75 min class focussing on yoga for one element. The classes are repeated for 3 weeks in a row to allow for a gradual deepening into the yoga therapy movements (except for the Core stability class, which is done twice). However, each class is unique; different aspects of the element are explored each week. The classes are well-rounded and are completed with 15 min of related pranayama and meditation.

You can take as long as you like to do the course and repeat classes as often as you like, but it’s best to progress through the course in the order given because each week builds on the last.
