SYDNEY BOOK LAUNCH FOR BUTTERFLIES BE GONE

We held our first book launch at a lovely bookshop, Harry Hartog Warringah, Brookvale, in February 2023.

A range of kids from 3 to 13 and their parents all loved the interactive yoga therapy and book reading (short video clip below). A few were children from John Colet School, Belrose, where I’d done some book readings the previous day. They’d loved it so much they’d brought their parents and siblings along to the official launch! And they knew all the moves.

It was such a pleasure to see the intensity of all the kids’ focus as Jesse’s adventures unfolded with lots of interesting yoga movements. The favourite pose, as always, was the noisy chest-beating gorilla roar. Raaaaa!

My co-author, Loraine Rushton, is the founder of Zenergy Yoga — the most experienced, longest running and highest regarded provider of children’s yoga education in Australia. I highly, highly recommend Zenergy Yoga if you’re interested in teaching yoga to children or teens in any format or situation. I’ve done the entire curriculum and use it in every kids’ class I teach to great effect, from babies to preteens.

We loved signing the books and sending them home with their special small person with a poster, bookmark and butterfly.
