About the books
Our new book is called Shout it Out! Yoga Therapy for Emotional Resilience.
The yoga story is beautifully illustrated by Andrew McIntosh. It’s designed to help children understand and release emotions and build positive emotions.
The yoga is highly effective meridian-based yoga and is written into the story to guide children to acknowledge and express their emotions through yoga, breathing, self-awareness, letting go, and a positive mindset.
[Plot spoiler alert!] In a transformational relaxation at the end, children get to choose which emotions they’ll ‘grow’ in their very own inner ‘garden’.
Shout It Out follows on from our popular and impactful first book, Butterflies Be Gone! Yoga Therapy for Fear & Anxiety.
Children and adults of all ages love our first book and many children have enjoyed and benefitted from our book readings at schools, libraries and childcare centres.
Rave review for Butterflies Be Gone (more below):
‘I absolutely LOVE your book and the way you incorporated yoga into your story and presentation. We wrote a reflection upon returning to the classroom. The children also were buzzing about your story. Many of the children will benefit from reading and revisiting your work!’ — teacher, John Colet School, Sydney

The book is for 3–10-year-olds but the yoga is for adults just as much as for kids. Parents are encouraged to join in if desired. Older siblings and teens will enjoy the event if they still like having fun and doing yoga.

Yes. And the posters of the yoga sequences too. They make great Christmas presents for family and friends. Get your Christmas shopping done while the kids have a fun event learning important life skills. Win win!
-
Please try to enter the waiting room between 6:45 pm and 7 pm. This gives time in case there are any technical difficulties with connection. Sometimes it helps to turn your computer off and on if you’re having trouble connecting. We will open the Zoom event at 7:00 pm sharp.
However, still try to join in even if it’s midway through. We should be able to let you in.
You will be emailed a recording of the event. -
Yes, at least one responsible adult must stay with your children, regardless of age, for the duration of the event. It’s important that your children are supervised around the computer and doing the yoga. It’s only 30 min and parents are encouraged to join in as it’s just as beneficial for adults.

Clothing that's comfy for doing yoga. Shorts or leggings and a t-shirt is great.
